Financial Situation
The Principals of Sibley had built a successful and profitable enterprise since beginning in 1992. A considerable portion of the Principals' personal wealth was locked in the business and they wished to liquify some of that wealth. Further, the firm required additional capital to continue its rapid growth but lacked Corporate Finance expertise. The firm sought an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions partner with an abundance of capital to aid in that growth.

A partnership that included investment from Granite provided the financial expertise and capital to fuel Sibley's continued growth.
